  • Noticed it the first time I saw it years ago! Otherwise, frame for frame, one of the best movies of ALL TIME! if you don't agree, get over your pretencious snobby ass selves!

  • I clearly saw this mistake when this film was shown on The Hub.

  • This was definitely on American tapes. I remember seeing it as a kid. The idea that it was a blooper never even occurred to me and I spent a lot of time as a kid trying to figure out why he was pulling chain through a basket like that.

  • We once had a tape which recorded the version showing the bloopers.

  • I don't know why people are insisting that this was intentional. It wasn't; Burton mentions this on the DVD commentary track. When the film is shown in the correct aspect ratio, the image is masked at the top and bottom and the "blooper" isn't visible.

  • When on cable now, it is panned up and not shown anymore. Still a good movie
