Soviets wore out barrels of their Mosin Rifles, while the French often never fired a shot. French rifles only got slight "dings" when they were dropped. The Nazi invasion of France was the same as Barbarossa. Same Panzers, Same Wehrmacht, Same Generals. In 1940 the French Army was just as strong in manpower, artillery, tanks and aircraft as the 1941 Soviet Army. Why didn't the French fight? Always scared me that the French were our "allies" during the Cold War. Bless the Red Army in WW2!

I thought the pictures in these videos were superb.They covered every aspect of the invasion. The grunts ,marches , the battles and of course the misery of war. The best and quite Rare photos I have ever seen . Thank you very much. _Tom
