my dog, sam

EDIT 10/15/10: Sam is now 10 years old... and he's getting weird. he's having trouble going down the stairs, and we dont think his eyesight is that good anymore, because he cant seem to find anything... But we still love him and wish him the longest and happiest life possible!

this is my dog, sam. we got him when he was a puppy (runt of the litter) and found out he had some sort of ear infection. we were afraid it was contagous, so we had to leave him inside for most of his puppyhood. its sad really because later we learned it wasnt anything to be worried about and we tried to socialize him, but it was too late. now he is a 9 year old purebred yellow lab and we love him, but he is not good with other dogs. he stays inside mostly, because he doesnt like the hot..or the cold...or anything in between. his full name is Sam Bo, because we heard that if a dog's name ends in a vowel, he responds to it better. so if we want his attention we say "sam bo!" isnt that cute?

the songs is moonlight or moonrise, whichever you want to call it. nothing special or anything....
just a little vid made for my doggy! he's so cute! and the quality isnt very good cuz i made it with a crappy cam.

he just had an ear infection and it was rly bad. i dont rly understand how he got it or anything like tht but hes just fine now... hes right here curled up beside meh! ^^

yeah its gone, but sometimes his ear smells really bad and we have to put stuff on it

well im not sure how we got him to spin i think it was something he did on his own when food was around. we got him to roll over by telling him to lay down and then showing him what to do (we got down and rolled over too)

i miss my dog, and i know he misses me, so spend all the time you have with him. never know when he will be taken away from you.
