Honroable Ladies and Gentlemen;

On September 15th there will be a closed door meeting of the International Whaling Commission(IWC) to overturn the ban on Whaling that has stood since 1982. William T. Hogarth, the Dean of the College of Marine Science, University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, Florida must hear our voices. We cannot allow this group to meet behind closed doors. This would mean that there would be NO government authority to control thier decisions, which would give the government all rights to turn thier heads and allow whaling to begin LEGALLY all over again.

With you're help we can allow public attendance to this meeting. Whales are endangered and belong to the world, not special interest groups! Then the media can get involved and everyone could see our government looking the other way while we allow stuffed shirts to sign the whales' death warrants. There is no rationale for whaling in the contemporary world. Please take this time to contact them and demand an open meeting!

We need your help to save the whales from extinction! Very few of them remain. Please help us protect them!

Kind Regards,

**************************************

IWC chairman William T. Hogarth, who also serves as the Dean of the College of Marine Science, University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, Florida, is directing the closed-door meeting of the IWC Small Working Group.

Question: Why would next weeks meeting of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) be closed to the press, the public, and scientists not associated with the commission?

Answer: Because they will be discussing lifting the long-standing ban on commercial whaling and they dont want anyone to know the real reasons why.

  • What does comment pending approval mean?

  • It means pro-whalers and spammers are NOT welcomed.

  • and only friends can comment automatically.

  • When will you learn the difference between research and commercial? When Japan starts commercial whaling, we will get more than 10times. Don't you underestimate Japan?

  • One more good reason why commercial whaling should be banned forever and research whaling has to be regulated to be non-lethal.

  • IWC needs to be shut down, IWC has failed to do its job, lift the ban on commercial whaling when there is more whales in the waters, the federal governments needs to re do IWC they need IWC members on these whaling vessels, we need to re do the laws of "whaling".

  • Awsome Vid

  • Your comment has nothing to do with my video. Go and spam somewhere else.

  • catchy title

  • It is loose, loose for Japan because if they succeed in lifting the ban and drop the nonsense research guise they will loose the right to hunt in whale sanctuaries world over and that will make their hunting grounds much smaller.

  • signed!!!!

  • The world is going to the dogs.
