Canadian Pacific 164 in Morning Sweetlight

April 23, 2008: A beautiful morning, CP 164 passes through the sweetlight, and also a going away shot illuminated by the sunrise. Power is two CP AC4400CW's, 9768 and 8631. If you are wondering why the train is short, remember how April was the month of rising gas prices? The oversea container ship for CP's intermodal dropped to once a week, and CP had lost a normal freight customer, but thankfully, business is back in full throttle and the CP trains are back to their near 100 car length thanks to new customers and increased intermodal business. This train is known as NS 30J, and is Binghamton, NY to South Philadelphia, PA, and back as CP 165 (NS 31J), and normally run in dark.

That double set of AC44CWs is pretty sweetflips. I like the morning light, too, you really lucked out, buddy. Usually this train comes thru darkness.
