A new report into homelessness in the UK shows that life expectancy for those living on the streets is on a par with Afghanistan and Somalia. People without homes in the UK are also nine times more likely to commit suicide. This comes as the numbers of homeless are rising amid the economic recession.

  • @ross2503 have you contacted homeless charities like shelter?....I was homeless for 9 months with dogs. i went into nature though instead of living on streets...it wasnt easy....if you need advice please ask me and if i can answer i will

  • I'm an unemployed teacher facing being homeless with my dog. The reasons it gives in this video are not the only reasons. The councils now pay Housing Benefit to tenants not landlords, so landlords now have to trust it will be passed on so they just won't rent to you. Benefits have been slashed to the cost of the CHEAPEST room. I'm forced to leave my home and be homeless because I cant afford it due to the cuts. The poorest always suffer under the Conservatives. Suicide remains a way out for me.

  • Rather sad video...

  • Great Britain :(
