  • I'm thinking of getting this exact same compressor. Hope I have better luck. I've looked at both Lowes and Home Depot as well. Seems as if all low end "home" compressors get a lot of crappy reviews. There has to be a light duty home model out there that is of decent quality, which one is it?

  • @philgrif69 For the money look into Home depot. I ended up going with a Husky 2hp 30 gallon belt driven oil compressor. Much better quality/much better compressor. The craftsman took about 16-17 minutes to fill from empty. The Husky takes about 7 minutes to fill from empty. The craftsman direct drive is very noisy compared to a belt driven. I also noticed the ton of bad reviews. Look at the model i mentioned it actually has great reviews and +1 from me. Its made by Campbell Hausfeld.

  • My friend, sorry for your problems. But don't be surprised. ANYTHING MADE IN CHINA IS JUNK. Buy US. The Japanese make good audio stuff, but nothing from China is quality. When is China going to understand that Americans will pay for QUALITY CONTROL. Enjoyed the video.

  • I bought a makita and a harbor freight, both were broken out of the box, ran fine for the break in then just seized. Both junk!

  • oil lubed is best. would try harbor freight though or older american made from Craigslist.

  • @ahubbard117

    harbor freight+20%off coupon+ oil lubed.

  • I have a similar model. It has leaked from day one and half the time it trips the breaker when it starts up. I also have a belt driven compressor and it has never given me problems. Stay away from direct drive units.

  • @ChevyGangman323 Open the bottom drain valve and run the compressor for 10-15 minutes

  • I could be wrong cause of the video quality and darkness but my friend use to have one like that till he got a stronger hp and larger psi one. it seems the air hose leak only leaks when moved forward could that be the air pressure release?

  • Craftsmen compressors are made by Devilbiss, as is some Husky, Porter Cable, and Delta compressors..

  • i wanna get this compressor how do i break it in can u make a video please

  • @philgrif69 g.o to sears
