I use a lot of adjectives when commenting about gymnastics, but this is the first time I feel justified in saying a gymnast (and her routine) was magnificent :)

@tomsk14 Well good for BBC. Im glad they do this for sure..but you cannot blame the talent. There is more behind the scenes that people don't take into account. Elfi herself is Canadian and works for NBC..the producers tell them what to talk about and when to talk about it. Also the cameras they view are determined by the photog. It would be very boring if the photog took random video while you were talking and a producer telling you what to say. Its not just the commentator. I work in TV.

@LCAmarkymark No No No, Im sorry you are totally wrong. Listen to my native BBC broadcasting, its alot of the videos, but we hosted the 2009 worlds so they will definitely have BBC commentary on them if you need to hear. Notice how they ONLY talk about the gymnast in question, even when our own gymnast was in first position, are endlessly positive and encouraging about other countries and have excellent knowledge on the event and athletes. The Elfi team makes my ears bleed.

@MrsShazziePepper1996 Im not saying you did. Im just saying the Romaian Broadcast would be all about the romanians. I myself would have loved to hear more about the Romanian gymnasts but I think people don't give these poor comentators any respect. People don't see the behind the scenes. I work the behind the scenes and it can get crazy for the commentators who are live. They can only do so much. Info is being poured into their ears of what to say next or you have 13 sec hurry up lol

what a joke1 the commentators focus on the scores and what is happening to the American team! Not ONE etchnical comment about this floor routine (which was excellent btw..), but what do we get told..."Milosovici knows how to do this routine.." wow. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW. ;)
