Falun Dafa is a practice that has brought better health and inner peace to millions around the world. We call it a cultivation practice: "cultivation" refers to the improvement of one's heart and mind through the careful study of universal principles based on truthfulness, benevolence, and forbearance; "practice" means doing exercises and meditation to energize the body.

Learning Falun Dafa is easy. The practice is simple, powerful, and absolutely free. The main principles of Falun Dafa are explained in their entirety in the book Zhuan Falun, and in the beginner's text, Falun Gong, both written by Falun Dafa's founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi. Also essential to the practice are the five gentle exercises, including a seated meditation, which you can learn quickly and easily at any of the thousands of practice locations around the world."

actually the practice itself might be as good as tai chi and yoga, i used to learn it before in sydney, but i finally quit since when i practiced it, most people hated me, my friends asked me to leave falungong or leave them, my parents almost kicked me out from home, i am so surprised at that time given the fact that many of my loved people hate falungong so much

Thank you for your comment. It just seems to be the thing to do these days, to persecute falun Dafa/Gong.

It is being used as one of the many scapegoats. Chinese hate themselves for the revolution, so it turns against whatever seems to be separate from this collective pain and self-disgust.

That is my theory.

falungong has no future, the people practicing falungong are fewer and fewer, i used to practice falungong, but i find it so boring, and i left falungong since it tells me the lie about china

Falun Gong is good. There is nothing wrong with trying to become more truthful, compassionate, and forbearing. The practise teaches you to become a good person, and your health improves as well. Freedom of belief is a basic human right. Imprisoning, torturing, and killing people for reading a book that teaches them to be good and doing five qigong exercises, is unaccpetable. I truely hope you can accept this.

@VexenC Te communist party of China also teach things like you should help other people. More over I spoke with some members of Falun Gong and some ex members, they all told me that Falun Gong is not good and they are not healthy for the people. In my opinion it is right that they forbit Falun Dafa. But its good that you follow somethig who tell you you should care on other people.

@MiXiaoPa Also I'd just like to add. Falun Dafa doesn't teach you to commit suicide. Far from it actually, Mr Li Hongzhi write that suicide is a sin. Dafa practioners are taught to be easy going, and not to go to extremes, to live life naturally.

I'm assuming you're reffering to the Tianamen Square self immolation incident? This even is believed to be staged, as there is a lot of evidence to support this. You can read about it on the Clearwisdom/Minghui website.

Hi, I've been reading Falun Dafa material on and off since I was 10 years old. Falun Gong actually asks you to try your best to be a good person in everything you do, and to consider others when doing something. Although there is a lot of written material it is basically centered around three words, Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. I've met many Dafa practitioners, and they basically try to implement those three words into their lives to try to become better people.

First of all I want to thank you for answer me. And of cause I belive that the communist party saved the chinese. I also hear about the 60 million people who died. But thats a really rude propaganda from the USA and they slaves european. Falun gong is under ´´persecute´´ because they teach the people things like suicide and I think every party of a country would do the same thing with falun gong.

They killed somewhat 60 million people to establish their utopia which failed miserable , they have waged war against chinese history and culture for 60 years. Today they continue to persecute it's own people and deny them human rights to ensure that they maintain power. Yet in your eyes they are saviors, it's puzzling isn't it?. "Stockholm syndrome" do you know what that is?.
