Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Judy Garland 1939

LYRICS:
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

  • @LovexxMuzik I totally agree with you, i am 15 and my friends don't appreciate much talent when they see it, they're into rap and hip-hop, but NOTHING can compare with this.

  • I want to listen to this forever, this is MY song. It means so much to me.

  • Thank you for this video!

  • This song make me happy.

  • did anyone here that scream

  • @Eddy2730 That is sad that Mickey found out that way...but Judy and Mickey Rooney were never married. She was married to Mickey Deans in 1969 prior to her death, but not Mickey Rooney.

  • best video ever

  • I can't not cry every time I see this.

  • @xenobmrobia I cry too :)

  • Apparently 4 people are happy under the rainbow. I don't understand why someone would dislike this. I'm almost 13 years old and Judy is one of my favorite actresses of all time. My friends can't stand watching old movies, and mot of them don't know who judy garland is. Such a shame. RIP Judy Garland, one of the best

  • I only know that every time I hear Judy sing this song, I cry. I Don't know why. I have listened to countless people cover this in my my 63 years. Only Judy makes it real for me.
