cant seem to find any videos on youtube about Robocop: Villains of Old Detroit

It's a credit to Richard Eden's talent as an actor that he could be so terrific as the mysterious yet loyal Brick Wallace on the now-defunct NBC soap Santa Barbara (for which he got a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor) and be just as awesome as the superhero Robocop. :-)

I liked this show but it was first run syndication so there wasn't a national set time and day like on Network TV and in my local area they use to show this on Sunday at Midnight! Someone locally obviously didn't like the show in my area!

I remember when I was little I seen a Robocop film in blockbuster (Not 1, 2, or 3), and of course I was kid so I HAD TO SEE IT, but I don't remember what the rest of the title was. Well it was shit, but man I remember there was a scene at the end of the movie where a guy was about to get run over by a huge van and the van stopped before it hit him the guy froze up and did some FUNNY ASS SMILE, OMG IT WAS HILARIOUS I KEPT REWINDING. Can someone tell me which Robocop it was it somebody knows.

The reason why that wouldn't work is because Robocop's skull is made of metal, with Murphy's face grafted on. If you look closely in the first film, you can see how the flesh of Murphy's face actually overlaps the rest of his head. The only parts of Murphy they used to build Robocop were his brain and face, nothing else. So, shooting him in the exposed part of his face would actually accomplish little, since it's just a thin layer of flesh over a metal skull.

The TV version was good, none of the usual violent shooting (which was toned down, only to be used when needed and alittle subdued), the gore, and bad mouthing. The show did appeal to kids, so Robocop was just about accepted at all levels. From a hero, to the realm of superhero. This was a great adaptation from the actual movie version. Richard Eden was a perfect choice to portray the role Peter Weller made famous, as well to don the robo suit. The music echos the original very well, go Robo!
