@JordanicusRex If you know who i am, u kno my word holds water, all the resets he claims to b "guaranteed" can b escaped by teching forward, ive developed an "inescapable reset" but its extremely hard to set up

@KuichikiByakuya Thanks for the great info. I just got this game and there's a lot to learn!

@KuichikiByakuya not too sure. it was like the second day after release. I was running GR/RR/Spencer I'm pretty sure. RR got happy birthday'd so I couldn't use his burrowing teleport to get it either :/

@KuichikiByakuya OHHH no Spencer is retardedly good, he has been since the orignial marvel vs capcom 3 shown mostly by combofiend, and has been buffed in ultimate and givin a new move. Also Strider's assist is very good, creates lock down and lets characters get in. I use him it along with frank west and phoniex wright.
How good are these resets? It seems like the opponent literally just has to hold their stick in one direction to avoid the obvious command grab. Are these viable against experienced players or is it better just to go for the raw damage?

@JordanicusRex I apologize for not including variants where the opponents just tech back or forward. All of these work if you dash/change tentacle slam direction depending on their tech. For example the RL Slam L (Dragon Punch Light) if the opponent techs back, dash forward and tentacle slam M. The tentacle slam in the corner out of RL Slam L is pretty much guranteed if you can master the timing since the only way to truly escape is an invincible air super.

@JordanicusRex Clothesline reset (hitting L, or H post clothesline and then tentacle slam) catches forward techs, if they back tech once again dash forward and air grab or dash forward slam H. The Deadly Reach to end an air series lets Nemesis land faster than the opponent and enough time to see the tech of the opponent and use the correct tentacle slam. There are allot more ways Nemesis can tentacle slam than these, plus- not many players know the Nemesis matchup because he's unpopular.

@JordanicusRex Even further to that note, there are allot of bad Nemesis players out there that never tentacle slam, very few dedicated ones. Its like Thor in Vanilla he wasn't terribad its just the majority of players didn't know how to play him well. Btw stick? Ha, i'm a pad warrior.

@satolicious Glad to see the tactic is effective, did I play you or did someone do this to you?
