No surprises - Radiohead (Cover)

Well I'm over half way through the production of my first independant Album, which will be going on sale digitally. Hopefully in July.
I stopped for a break, and decided to cover a song that was requested quite a while ago. It's "No surprises" by "Radiohead".

The video is quite a simple one. Just me sitting in half shadow. It's been said that I have a very expressive face, so I decided to do a video where I was thinking about several different memories, which provoke different emotional responses. I wanted to keep it subtle, so you could pick up the different emotions with observation.
The video is a bit like the original video, but without the water. Lol :)

Radiohead is one of my favourite bands. It is very difficult to beat their original recordings. You did a great job!

I have watched your videos, and I think that you have an amazing voice for a man. You sing at a great rhythm and it is awesome how you keep the tempo so good!

This made me cry. You remind me of my father. I got the image of him singing this song to me. After years of cutting myself, and attempted suicides, I feel like I just needed this one break. Something to get all the pain out. My dad has always ignored my pleas, and told me that there's nothing wrong with me, when I've shown him what I've done to myself. Just the simple thought of something like this, such as my father singing "No Surprises" to me, completely broke me down into nothing but tears.
