I was just in Pinon Cayon again - and fear what the Army has done to ruin this beautiful part of the Great Plains. This area of the Grasslands sits atop the largest area of water in the US - the Ogallala Aquifer which provides water to eight states and my own home town of Kansas. If there is Uranium, Plutonium, leeching down into the Ogallala then we are in big trouble - as is the entire water supply of the Great Plains.
