when running OSX on vmware, you need to change the boot options so that it always runs off cd drive, this will help stop no os found error coming up. As for the error, you need to boot into verbose mode to see what the issue is. To do this, run darwin_snow, interrupt it and tell it to boot off cd, interrupt the cd and you need to run with the "-v" parameter. This essentially runs it in code instead of GUI and than you can see what your issue is.

SOLVED!! I got the same issue and you just need to start your vmware image using this file instead darwin_snow_legacy.iso.zip look around for it, about 30 megs and you will good to go, the whole problem is that you run a 64 bit windows just like i do.. cheers!

you dont have VT-x, and OS X is 64 bit based meaning it requires VT-x.
