@Skilly9000 I've never thought of that before. So Metroid isn't a shooter game? I know it's action adventure, but it's not considered a shooter? So what, it's like Mario or Zelda, just in space and with a chick who has a cannon on her arm?

The space pirate area in Phendrana Drifts was so effing scary, especially when the lights went out.

Comparing Halo and Metroid is like comparing Mass Effect and Final Fantasy. Actually, it's even worse because although Mass Effect and Final Fantasy are wholly different games, two sides of a spectrum, at least Mass Effect and Final Fantasy both count as RPGs. While Halo and Metroid (Prime as well) aren't even in the same genre. Halo is a shooter, while Metroid is an action adventure. If you think comparation is legit, go on and say space shoot'em'ups are better than flight simulators.

I hated this part- going down the one large room, passing all those Metroids, and knowing that you'll have to fight them on the way back up
