Avalon Airshow 2007 - Part 9 - American F15 Eagle Display

Taken by me, March 22nd 2007 at Avalon Airport, Melbourne, during the trade day, not open to public. There was this pretty funny American commentator...The flying was good, however! Sorry for the erratic movement on the clips, I turned off 'steady shot' to get a better quality video. I pride myself in being the first person to upload any Airshow 2007 footage!! I also attended the public day on Sunday the 25th, and have another 2 hours of very exciting footage that I plan to upload. By the Way, I love hearing feedback, so comment or rate the vids! ah man you think like me, i went too and the american comentator was halarious!! IF YOU CANT TURN TIGHT U CANT FIGHT! THIS PASS IS DEDICATED TO ALL THOSE TROOPS OUT THERE FIGHTING IN IRAQ!!! verry funny but the F-15 was very spectacular, its just a shame the whole day was facing into the sun.

The F-15 CAN do all of that stuff but they will not do it at airshows because they want to play it safe. You see unlike the Russians, western airforces consider it very unpatriotic to put innocent sightseeing crowds at risk just to put on a "cool" display, the Russians have no such beliefs. And if you don't believe me just look up airshow crashes on here. There's one in particular that's very horrific, where 80+ people died.

The blue angels dont show the full spectrum of what the fighters can do....they try to minimize the danger factor. and yes i was disappointed too. HOWEVER just a few pilots cant resemble the whole of the air forces pilots ;)

The f-15 is the eqivalent of a twin engine Cessna now with the F-22 out! You need to go see what the big boys fly!

Thanks for uploading, I was there that year with that jet, and worked on it. Man I miss it, I had a great time in Australia, yall had the best Seafood I've ever had, thats for sure.

i missed the F-15 in 2009.

To be honest, you can't put any of those in the same sentence as the F-15, as the '15 has NEVER been shot down in air to air combat, giving it a perfect 104-0 ktd ratio. The Spitfire and Mustang were good, but they were shot down too. The Phantom wasn't GREAT by any means, especially before they slapped the gun pods on. And the Su-27 is ok, but still not a match for the F-15.
