It's obvious that anyone who speaks german and can understand the joke will not write it here, because he will be dead before that.

at least the german joke is more comprehensible, eventhough not deadly at all: There were zwei (=two) peanuts walking down der Straße (=the street), and one was a salted peanut

But it is not written in German at all – at least not in high German or any common dialect that I know – and an obvious attempt of the English to mask their utter defeat and diplomatic blunder in World War II (a little hint: If one does win a major war its realm or empire does at least not become less but if it does utterly crumble, than something must be terrible wrong) so that they get not likewise mad at each other as they have done after losing the Hundred Year’s War.
