  • I can't decide between ZOTAC MAG HD-ND01 -OR- Zotac ZBOX AD02

I mostly stream 1080p movie either through home network or portable HD.

From my research ION is a great technology that allow 1080p playback using GPU.

On the other hand I saw many reviews about Zotac Zbox when playing 1080p extensively it use the AMD dual core CPU and create a huge lag when it gets too hot.

The prices different is only $50 but I want one for the peace of mind that won't fail me.

  • ZOTAC should make a mini PC that competes with the xbox

  • ZOTAC has the same problem with ASUS...they dont list the damn prices!

  • thx for the diskpart tutorial! : )

  • English only user manual... I like!

  • This is great. Just checked their website and they have drivers for 32 and 64-bit Linux. That makes it really worthwhile in my book!

  • Excellent Video I was wondering about the os install.

This video was best guide availabe I could find

  • @marianxtreme

Thats speaking like a true AMD fanboy. Loyalty is just boundary that slows advancement.

  • A waste of money buy it if you want Nvidia and Intel have big pockets they have no shame and no respect for customers.

  • Great video! There are a billion unboxing videos but no one where they acutally show it booting or running an OS. The MAG looks really nice, I want one to replace my bulky HTPC sporting a Radeon GPU and a AMD CPU. Swap out the 5400rpm HDD for a SSD and the MAG will perform even better. Doing a network install of either unattended (for windows) or just your flavour Linux distribution is another option to the USB-CDROM or the USB-stick. Thanks for a great video! :)
