Beautifully played friend. I remember this piece from the movie even now. It had haunted me for a long time since I saw Mounaragam from one of the theatres in my home town Calicut in 1987.

Ilayaraja caught in the mood is irreprissible and it is a shame that Mani Ratnam fell out with him..the loss is Mani's not Raja's.
