i don't hate this pick... but there were at least 5 other guys available that would have been better picks. we don't need a point guard! ronnie price is deron's backup! what we do need is a guy who can play defense and be a big man in the paint, not another guard...
i am very excited! i hope you root for the jazz now :) i only saw him play a few times, but if i have to compare him to somebody, would mo williams be a fair comparison? they seem sort of similar in style, both are good clutch shooters. i am eager to see him play in the summer league!
i do liek the jazz now haha but i don't think mo williams is quite right because maynor is more of a driving point guard with a good outside game while mo williams is reverse a lot of guys have said a less effective chris paul with a better shot and i think thats quite accurate
