PROP 8 Passed! As of midnight, Election Day, Same sex marriages are illegal in the state of California! In the constitution baby =D. No point in debating, just thank the 52% of Californian's, like myself =D. Ala Akbar

I understand that the rights of a homosexual American citizen are supposed to be the same as that of a heterosexual American citizen. I understand that a right that is being granted to heterosexual American citizens is being denied to homosexual American citizens. This isn't about redefining marriage: it's about redefining who is allowed to participate in it and treating everyone equally under the law. I repeat, domestic partnerships are not equal to marriage in either legal or social status.

Very smart and intelligent woman, she´s totally right, and we will win at the end, I have no doubt, I have 5 years already in a committed loving and respectful relationship with my partner and I strongly believe there is nothing wrong with that, I love him and he loves me, so we deserve to have the security and rights everyone else does.

God has NOTHING to do with homosexuality. I support equal right so much i even posted my own vlog against homophobia and when people say 'ooh god loves you like me but you weren't meant to be gay' it pisses me off. Everyone is equal. I always say 'imagine the world was the opposite of what it is now and gay people were seen as normal and those who were straight were seen as outcasts.'

It's NO ONES BUSYNESS who marries who ! In fact I don't care who marries who so why should any one else ! I don;t need to push my ways on any one so don't push yours on me and that is what they are trying to do . Keep fighting! People are all the same, so why in the hell should one set have to have less rights than the other... And would "God" really see it that way? What about that time not to long ago when women couldn't vote, or black people were 3/5ths of a man? The opposition had lots to say about god and equality and all that jazz, but now in the year 2010, we look back at ourselves and hand our heads in shame. Come on folks, evolve. Earlier today (Aug 4th 2010), Judge Vaughn Walker over turned Prop8 on the ground that it violated Americans' constitutional right to equal protection. I just thought I'd post that here to illustrate your point that, yes, we WILL prevail.
