This is a visualization of a VISWALK simulation in which pedestrians first align in a queue in front of a desk to purchase a ticket; next they slender through an art gallery and dwell in front of the displayed pictures.
The queuing functionality of VISWALK does not only allow for single line queues as shown in this example but is also capable of multi-desk queuing (fork-join queuing) with automatic shortest queue selection and a limited or unlimited number of pedestrians allowed in the single queues. Also street polls can be modeled using this functionality.
