In the old days he carried harps in a bandolero! A teacher of the blues in Britain who eventually moved to Calif. Now, a senior statesman of the blues he's less well known. His role in the '60s blues scene can't be understated. Without him thousands of musicians and millions of new fans would never have "discovered the blues." Do not forget this master teacher for his works.
