McCoy had just as much pressure as suh, the only difference is that the lions had something called defensive ends that caused pressure witched forced qbs into suh, I'm not taking anything away from suh but he was working with a better d line

He needs to get stronger and not arm tackle so much. I was a fan of him when he came out and thought his quickness alone would allow him to be good in the NFL but I was wrong. If he doesnt get stronger (upper and lower body) he wont be anything more than a decent DT

@bucc29 I agree but vanden bosh is at best average now. And cillff avril is up and down. So yeah he had more help but Suh is a mannnnnnnnnn!!!

Bucs are gonna have a better D Line than the Lions next year cuz we have Clayborn and Daquan Bowers very good D ends also Price with Mccoy, Lions only gots Nick fairly and Suh.

Im from Detroit and Suh is an absolute Beast, but McCoy didnt have crap for a Dline his rookie year. I think McCoy will have about 7-10 sacks next year and will be a beast.

@byonkoski76 Suh is no doubt better but everyone knew that before the draft.

Don't sleep on McCoy though he came on strong at the end of last year.

Hopefully the Bucs grab a DE so hes not the only one expected to put pressure on the QB.

I love how some people are dismissing Gerald McCoy after only his rookie season. Warren Sapp also only had 3 sacks his rookie year, and I'd say he went on to have an okay career, wouldn't you?

You know, he might not have had the sack stats, but this guy was a pressuring and QB hit beast. And he is fantastic in the run game too. Great video!
