Both planes have their strengths and weakneses but there is a reason(s) why the F-16 was chosen over the F-18 to be "THE" premier lightweight fighter for the Air Force! The F-18 was better suited to for the navy only because of it's 2 engines. At least that's the reasoning early on, but now it's become a sucess story. But I wouldn't underestimate the Fighting Falcon/Viper just yet!

Hell yah on his first high speed pass in cockpit view you can see the vapor cloud start to form around his cockpit, this was an outstanding demo hell of a pilot, people don't give the f-18 enough credit on paper its a much more dominant fighter than the f-16
