  • Bananas are supposed to help depression

  • @crosswind76 True, they are high in potassium which helps improve mood and alleviate irritability and anxiety.

  • Informative video from a man who's done the research from an unbiased perspective. More fruitarians should check out this video to get some balance in their lives and get off the moral high-ground / superiority trip.

  • @cosmicbdog I'm glad you found the video informative :)

  • @natureasintended i eat a mix between dr graham and dr cousens and it really works great for me. Dr cousens does have fruit in his diet program including the tropical sweet fruits. so i live somewhere between the Doug & gabriel and my health has soared.

  • People are generally wanting to belong to a communityso they find these communities and feel like they need to be exact or extreme to fit in and belong.....This is not the case.......LIke attracts Like......I have friends in both those communities and most are excepting .........I do think for athletes more fruit is better and for meditation and yoga low fruit would make more sense......Remember all these gurus are search for peace and enlightenment as well...........

  • @cosmicbdog He's unbiased, as you seem to NOT be. Who's the holier-than-thou vege here?

  • Where can these studies be found that he refers to in his video?

  • @Consistency87 botox

  • Arnold Ehret in his book Mucusless Diet Healing System: »If the female body is perfectly clean thru this diet, the menstruation disappears. In scripture it is called by the significant word »purification«, which it in fact is; clean ....

  • ....Every one of my female patients reported their menses as becoming less and less, then a two-three and four months intermission, and finally entirely disappearing, which latter condition was experienced by those who went thru a perfect cleansing process by this diet.» Any knowledge on this or links would be appreciated, thanks.

  • Question: dr. Cousens here mentions that women on fruit diet lose their periods and that it is bad. I'd like to know more about it. I read from different sources why not having periods shouldn't really be a problem? Cavassilas even said, in the prehistoric times before the moon was dragged here, women even didn't have periods!?

  • @TheCoolVegetarian Im with you on that, and I think Gabriel would agree...once a level of detox is reached you can eat more sweet fruits, but this whole streching the stomach thing and eating 30 bananas and loads of dates is WAY imbalancing over time!
