We revisit the Schindler (Commercial model) Hydraulic Elevators at Target, Pheasant Lane Mall, Nashua, New Hampshire.
These, especially the first one ridden, are developing problems with opening the doors. These need a little attention. Other than that, they run fairly well.
Also, both certs read 125FPM for the speed. One was mislabeled at 90FPM.

    Hmmmm.....

  • @georgef551 Ya the 80s mall with the old dover impulse but they are giving a huge remodel to PLM which thank god to SIMON to not touching the inside just fixing up the outside if your ever in NC near the Raleigh-Durham area give me a call/PM but when i was there December-late January they hadnt started it may just be a SIMON plan though

  • @beckwithelevatorman

That explains the sudden jump in location.

Never heard the mall being replaced, unless that's in NC. Wouldn't make sense to but millions into a makeover at PLM, otherwise.

I got to go back there someday, see if it's done.....finally.

  • @georgef551 I live in NC but my grandma lives in Lowell and my family travels a lot so eventually have videos spanning the east coast as for the Beckwith it just was down that day for cleaning (surprising) not that anyone was doing anything. The schindlers are still schindlerry and awful and like i said broken and they want to replace the mall with a Costco which would be better then the mall is but SIMON didnt even try to make it nice so the place is dirty and the Dover got bad

  • @beckwithelevatorman

I heard they were replacing the mechanicals on the Mall elevator, and it was actually done already (still runs like crap).

North Carolina? What? Where are you? One minute, Pheasant Lane, next, a lot farhter. :)

  • @georgef551 Its not schindlers fault its SIMONs they ran fine until SIMON took over and now there replacing the Beckwith and taking out the 80s mall with the oldest impulse ive ever seen (near me in NC) at Macgreggor Village I strongly dislike SIMON

  • @beckwithelevatorman

How do you overload those things?

(Oh, wait, it's Schindler. That's enough of a reason that 1/2 the weight overloads it.)

  • those are crap now literally 2 were broken and the third was overloaded with me and 3 other people in there SIMON sucks

  • @mdbv25

For a SIMON Mall, not surprising, that, and the doors having difficulty opening.

  • The front door close button insert is missing.
