There are gay men that think that being gay is not a bad thing but they hide themselves and they say to other people that they are not gay because they've convinced themselves that being gay means you are a less masculine male than a heterosexual one and more like a woman.
That's just ridiculous!

i think it's just because gays don't spend all their time trying not to seem gay!
they're comfortable w/themselves, so they don't need to put on a front.
i'm straight, but i've always gotten along w/girls better than guys too, mainly because guys are just so neurotic. all they think about is not being mistaken as gay.
i'm just not that bothered. i wear what i want to and speak the way i want to.

it's PEOPLE who attach behaviour to genders, not nature. then they spend their whole life acting the way they're "supposed" to- boy OR girl.

@taffysaur I definitely agree with you. I was just reading this article about gender neutral child rearing, which includes naming your child with an ambiguous name, not assigning gendered colors, and allowing children to play with toys they want without predisposition to gender stereotypes. Very interesting idea.
