The static you are hearing is not the DJ. Premier said when he moved to brooklyn he drove from texas in his pickup with all his records in the back. on the way to brooklyn it rained and all his record got wet. the paper sleeves got jammed in the grooves of the record and basically "ruined" them. preem tried to clean out the paper as best he could and sampled the record and the "STATIC" you are hearing is the paper. preem wanted to buy another copy but guru said it was dope so they kept it...

You need a bit more practice bro at times that just sounds like static.

thats was good but you need to clean it up alittle bit. try backspining the record instead of trying to find the mark with you hand.. if you practice that way long enuff and get it accurate you wont hear that back scrapping noise all the time. and try tapping your feet when your practicing to help keep the beat. other then that your more then on your way
