Mirage MX 5.1 + Yamaha RX-767 - Home Theater System
An amateur setup trying to find the crossover frequency. Tip to find is main speakers low frequency (LF) range X 70%. For my Mirage MX satellite speakers, the LF is 110Hz X 70% = 77HZ is the key, after that fine tune it for your ears. I'll soon replace Left & Right with some floor standing speakers, move the satellites to RL & RR & add Presence speakers (please recommend some good makes). MM 6 Sub-woofer delivers a fantastic LFE, what I'm lacking is the sharp Bass(will achieve with floor standing speakers). My hall structure is irregular, even though it rocks!!!

  • @VMF20 As long as if you are inside the four corners of the speakers its good to hear. The only thing I don't like about this is finding the right cross-over point and lacking mid-range bass. Other than that for its size it does a lot. (my flat's hall has an awkward structure - not a perfect square or rectangle, so I'm not sure this is coz of that). If space is not a concern go for legacy type of speakers, it always rocks!

  • Does the mirage mx give you a full room sound that does not require sweet spot to get the best sound.

  • @xDIRTYSOUTHx Thats a TV.

  • Is that a TV on the wall or a Tablet PC?
