@Silver808s I haven't played SMG2 yet, I only managed to buy SMG two years ago, but I have to say, that Galaxy is a masterpiece and it's ABSOLUTELY worth getting if you own a Wii ;). I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you purchase the first Galaxy game! Some say the second game is as good, as the first one, some say it's a bit worse or better.
Anyway, I've heard that the first Galaxy is more "magic" and "space-like". Buy it and see for yourself and let me know what you think :).

Yeah, I don't really understand why people actually enjoy "war" games. How is it a good thing these games are getting more and more realistic? Why the fuck would you want to picture yourself in the middle of one of these fake conflicts (and I mean fake because they're all about profit for a minority and death for everyone else) ? Gaming should be about forgetting about humanity's bullshit for a little while.

FYI Wii came out a year after X360. It was like that - X360 (2005), Wii (2006), and PS3 (2006). That's why there is a competition between those systems. But still, you can't compare these consoles, while Nintendo is all about the innovation, and pure fun, Microsoft and Sony are trying to get the "mass" gamers. It's like music - X360 and PS3 are MTV/Viva/whatever music channel you have, and Wii is like jamendo, or small concerts. You have to grow up to see the greatness in it.
