  • @artbaugh3 Art, what do you think gayness is about? What do you think the push for gay marriage is about? Sex? People can have sex without marriage. It's about love, Buddy, love and tenderness, making a life together and holding one another as we die. There isn't anything sexual or heterosexual or homosexual about love at times like this, so on that level you're right. The rest is a work of art, up for interpretation.

  • So incredibly beautiful. Amazing.

  • I'm crying. I never cry at movies or television or books, but this, this has me sobbing like a baby. It's so beautiful.

  • @edporsche20 Oh no wait it was around 2:30 in the Bicentennial Man Soundtrack, just click the first or second soundtrack that is 6:20 minutes long :)

  • @edporsche20 James Horner The gift of mortality ; the exactly same version was used in the Bicentennial Man Soundtrack, it starts around 3:20 :)

  • what is the background music?

  • I'm crying my eyes out at the office over this clip. That was one strong scene. Enjoy it while you can. The YouTube nazis will probably remove it the moment they find it.

  • This scene resonates through the ages. No less touching today than it was back in 1927.

  • @billbb46 Well put.

  • I've actually seen the whole movie (film major, woo) and they're not actually in a non-platonic relationship, unfortunately. Apparently dudes just kissed their dying friends on the mouth back in those days. After Dave dies the other guy goes back home to his female sweetheart. :\

  • @MunfyKun I'm sure the original soundtrack was an old woman playing ragtime on the theater pipe organ

  • @artbaugh3 - it was truly a love...that dare not speak it's name!!!
