The magnificent and brilliant singer René Pape in "Mein Herz Brennt" with Dresdner Sinfoniker. Conductor John Carewe. Way better than the original by Rammstein.

  • Does he only prefer on his left side?

    He is hynky bass nevertheless.

Rene is the most impressive bass around.

  • Yeah, he sure is impressive. The best bass singer ever I think.

  • This fucking song never will be better than Ramms+ein original

  • This is brilliant. As a music teacher and a huge fan of Rammstein's, I find this to be awe-inspiring. While the music doesn't sound anything like the original, he still captures the essence of the lyrics' power and emotion. This is a perfect example of how two completely different interpretations can end up with the same end product.

  • hat der gute Mann noch mehr Lieder von Rammstein gesungen?

  • It ia absolutly different song and has no anything common with the song of Rammstein.

  • Not superior in the artistical way, but more thriving,

powerful, you get what I mean? ;)

  • I'm not a fan of opera, I prefer the original one :) But that's just my opinion. + I'm a big fan of Rammstein. .\../

  • MewMewcafe -- wtf are you talking about?

  • Sere all listening to rene pape, ren epape, pae rene. were all lisseningt o rene pape, rene pape... its wunderbaum

  • I agree with 100%. His King Marke at the Met was powerfull, very emotional the way I like it.

  • What do you mean with "actual instrumentation"?You mean those heavy guitars are far superior to the real art of instrumentation?I grant you that the guitars are much louder. But thats it.
