Figured it out.
If it says that it cannot create C:windows/system32/etc
Then right click notepad and put "run as administrator"
Problem solved. Thumb up so others can see this.

@01Technet pls help me pls i have edited my host file like this and work everything well but still today it said invalid serial!!! when i thought everything was fine i work with windows vista home basic...

Sorry to say but I think adobe or one of the major update sin vista or something no matter how much i try it wont let me save addresses in host file I use it for more of the ads to block them off while on google yahoo and facebook. but apparently now I'm on vista it wont let me modify even with admin. the save function no longer works with host so can someone help me thanks.
