@mgman71 Moreover, you say they only make pennies per day or whatever it is. You cannot compare wages paid in, for example, the USA to China. Totally different costs of living. If China is willing to produce something for half the cost then why shouldn't we buy it? Their government subsidizes their products for export which makes for unfair competition here. Not exactly a 'free market' unfortunatly.

@redsquirrelftw China is an industrializing country unlike the USA, Canada, Germany, Britian, ect. Back when north america was in the industrializing stage the same thing could be seen.  Safety costs money. Unlike here where the government tries to legislate everyone into common sense by putting safe guards on every little thing, people there actually have to think and work smart, its not a nanny state.

This is why we (the rest of the world) need to stop buying from China. By buying from china, we support this kind of nonsense. This is just waiting for somebody to seriously get hurt or killed, and these people get paid pennies per day. And lets not bring up Foxconn.... China has zero regulations when it comes to well,anything. We have to stop supporting them until they start to smarten up.
