you no what really happen,punks energy and in your face agression and speed started to rub of on all these bands,mostly a lot of uk bands and german bands,and it just planted a big seed for a lot of stuff.and then the same thing happend to punk they started to like the grind and the heavy sound of the guitars and mixed that in.ect ect.im so glade all that happend rock music would have sucked big time if this never crossed over like it did.
