@IAmMichaelMyers As chalupa1986 said in reply to a similar comment by another person, the quality is due to the conversion from analog (tapes) to digital format. You probably have never uploaded a video to YouTube or you would also know that there is compression and format requirements by YouTube, further reducing the quality.
