What is a hard wired solution?
A hard wired solution is where a cable is stripped and terminated in a wiring accessory, such as a standard fan outlet. This is the most common method used today.
In a lighting installation fan outlets are positioned according to the layout requirements at that time and are terminated at the appropriate points. In most cases, to add to or alter the installation, new cable is required and the terminations need to be re-wired.
