just you posting this video is helping get the story out millions of people get on you tube everyday and who knows some miracle doctor or maybe even someone like oprah might catch just a piece of this story and lend a hand, granted that may be a little far-fetched but some say what we did was a miracle. so why not believe another miracle can happen?! this story needs to be heard, i know someone can help this kid and his family more than we did ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! so thanks for spreading it

Wow, Just ran across this video. Thank you for your well wishes, and yes, there are still good people out there. I was blessed to be able to travel from Florida to help with the restoration of Tyler's car. He unfortunately passed away in February 2010. Tyler's legacy lives on, as there is now an annual Tyler Shipman Memorial Car Show that takes place in July of each year.

My husband and I and Rod...who posted already drove from Indianapolis to help with the build. We do appreciate that people will recognize that there is still kindness that exists in this world. Tyler is thought of often in our home and we are planning to take the return trip for the car show. Featuring the FIERO!! What what?!? lol Anyways. No thanks are needed. Just glad that he got to have a wish come true.

Thank you for the kind words. I am one of the builders that was there to put his car back together and I must say it was trueley a blessing to all of us to help tyler out. I flew in there from PA and donated my time and knolege of these cars to help him reach his dream. as did many other people.
