Another test for the Windows Movie Maker split screen effect. Jazz singer Michelle Benjamin sings the not-often-played ballad by Johnny Mandel and Dave Frishberg - 'You Are There'
It is one of my favourite things to do - it is a challenge because it depends on each being able to instantly respond to the other. My favourites are Bill Evans with Tony Bennett, Fred Hersch (with quite a few different vocalists) and John Taylor (with Norma Winstone).
Very, very nice. Good rendition. And Michelle is very easy on the eyes. Bravo.

What a beautiful rendition of one of my favorite tunes. Kudos to the vocalist and the piano player! (From a bass player) I always thought what a great lyric for a memorial service or funeral (if the singer could hold it together...)

This is so useful, thankyou! Working with a singer at the moment and as it's nothing either of us have really done this will help so much!
Beautiful playing/singing too :-)
