THIS MAN WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR OUR MUSIC AS WE KNOW IT EL DEMBOW DEL REGGETON
-
@BadBoriBoy so you are saying that those Panamanians are not Jamaican-descent? They have the right to call it reggae since they're ancestors were Jamaican. And stop insulting people.
-
Reggae in all its forms is still reggae. No matter what you call it.

@classaddress : You have already been corrected. You come off as IGNORANT by the way, & beyond clueless.
This music is the sister to reggae, and it's called RAGGAMUFFIN(RAGGA). This is not reggae. It is RAGGA/DANCEHALL. RAGGA is an electronic reggae mix with a more aggressive/faster sound for the club. The RAGGA that was made in PANAMA is the birth of REGGAETON which the name should be changed to RAGGATON hence it does not represent reggae. The language spoken in PANAMA is Spanish you retard.

@classaddress LMAO you obviously have NO idea about reggaeton history. LOL reggaeton was created in Panama when Jamaican descendants moved to Panama following the Panama canal construction era. The Jamaicans who chose to live in Panama mixed Jamaican music with Spanish. El General made it popular in America in the 90's and his music was copied and remixed by puerto ricans. This IS reggaeton's foundation. Listen to "Trailer Load A Girls" by Shabba and "Matie" by Beenie Man for more proof.
