@kayleyjay i 100 persent agree with you. half of these "animal hording" videos aren't about animal hording, their about people with a large amount of pets. it looks like she takes great care of her animals and birds are truly like kids and she seems to be kind of like a rescue sanctuary to them.....

Anyone think of the parrots? They are more intellegent then human children with all the feeling and emotion responses I see NO reason their vote doesnt count and its by far more psychologicaly damaging to rehome a parrot then ANY OTHER animal

"He was a friend and a lover, a neighbor and a brother. He was everything a human can be and everything they are not, in all the best ways- he was a parrot"
Hmmm human or parrot? I CHOOSE PARROT :D

Go rats! you ever seen willard the movie? it just looks funny

why should anyone have to give up their pets if they are well looked after just because their family or friends think its weird. i dont like spending time with people, whats that got to do with anyone but me. i spend time with my 28 rats. all very well cared for, and deserve my time alot more than many people do.

well she has a backyard then why not make a huge one
rather than small cages at least the birds can fly freely
-
is having birds as pets a form of abuse anyway... to have the gift of flight and they can't even use their wings.. confined to a cage.. if you ask me that is abuse
-
@floofybird - I second this. I have only two birds (my limit for now is four = two pairs), and I would choose them over people if I have to.
If she can take care of them and herself, why should anyone care if she is not social with people?

This is typical of hoarding ether animals or just stuff. Things or in this case birds have become more important then relationships or people. I do own birds, but I have reached the limit I will bring in. As a person who personally deals with hoarding in my own family members. Please make sure you don't judge the family based on the hoarders actions.

@christpher1987ism so far out of all the comments I've read your the only one that makes sense
This video pissed me off so bad. Who cares if she chooses to spend time with her birds then go out on a date. Thats what she chooses so let her be. Her birds are well cared for, her house seemed clean. She's 66. Yeah i understand that she cnt go visit family but let the family visit her and if they have a problem with the birds then that becomes their fault. I'm sure she would make one room parrot free where visitors can sit and talk. If not then leave her be.
