Chickens in my yard

A compilation of vids I took of my two chickens, one little one big.

OK if there are any chicken experts out there who can helps me clerify the gender of my little chick. At the moment I am at a loss because she displays features of both genders, and knowing that some pullets will display male characteristics because of thier pecking order and all, it just makes it twice as confusing. If you notice here that when a car rolls by she raises her head in curiosity it makes me think it's a male, but when I try to pick her up from above her (and not let her step on my hand) she runs away. She also looks like she's growing spurs, but she's got semi dark feet and her comb isn't growing in (but being an Ameraucana they don't have big comb). So I'm at a loss, and I really don't want to vent her to figure it out for sure...she's too big to let me if I tried anyway. We do need a female chicken for the eggs so it's kinda bad to think about what we'll do if she turns out male (it's so cute, we don't want to get rid of it).

My 2nd chicken is named Gena, a Buff Orphinton. She's a real character and she wishes she can come in the house. She sees all the other animales go in and out as they please why cant she?...because she poops everywhere XD. Anyway, she gives us good eggs. We're new to chicken raising so there are alot of things we could be doing better but they're happy and well feed, that's all that matters.
