@AugustBurnsRedOwns at the menu of starting a race, you click the little wrench 2 down from the race option. go to chassis and select the little setting icon. You can adjust there.  You can also adjust other settings that people give

this race was driving me insane, until i turned skid recovery force on, and went from losing by 14 seconds to winning by 6... stupid.
