Canadian Confederation Rap Song

We were assigned a socials progect to do with the Canadian confederation of 1867. So what do you do when you don't REALLY want to do any work or research.... just make a rap song. (For those that don't know, the confederation was the union of the early canadian provinces)

It's a political deadlock between everyone

So in 1864 in the month of June the Conservatives, the Clear Grits, and the Parti Blue

Excellent decision now we've ended this devision
But we're still not finished with our politic system
The english keep dissin' the French traditions
Plus besides that, we need more trade
We need more money and a new railway
Americans in the south trying to invade
And the stupid Irish with their Fenian raids
The best thing to do in this situation
Is to unite we need a confederation

Then came October and we went to Quebec
We decided that a federal union would be best
By the time that that conference was through we had a lot of resolutions... About 72!

We wanted rep by pop and no dictator
Each province had it's own legislature
We're making some progress, you know it fo-shizzle
Power divided between federal and provincial
Gonna make a railway from the east side to the west
Gonna make a railway from halifax to Quebec
Later in the winter 66-67 the city of London was where we was headin
One dominion of Canada, by now you should know
New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario

@utubingmetubing Futhermore, name me a serious war that the US military has won convincingly since WW2. Korea? Vietnam? Afganistan? Iraq? All defeats, not achieving victory. It is embrassing to be so proud of your imperialistic army while it is one of the main factors that is dragging the US economy to hell. Please learn some history, grow up and get your boys home if you do support the troops.

@MrJJackYT HAHAHA the Afghanistan and Iraq wars were never our wars to begin with. I'm just glad that the Canadian people are able to exert enough power on their government so that it actually REPRESENTS the PEOPLE unlike the USA. Where did I say that Canada's military was equal to the United States' military? I simply stated the fact that it was mainly the Russians that fought the Nazis. You need to educate yourself more and talk less.
