    Ellen is awesomely brilliant in this role! Very few could pull it off. She makes me laugh so hard at all the ridiculous bigotry that is often so painful when "real" role models speak this way, It's so therapeutic! thanks Ellen.

    She's the surrogates mother figure (but biologically speaking, her grandmother) because Goldie's real "mom" ran off and left her.
