I saw Shonen Knife last night in San Francisco (sold out--maybe 400 people!) and, when, as their encore, they launched into a full set of Ramones songs, the crowd went CRAZY: a huge, wild mosh pit formed, with people slamming into each other like football players, stage diving--the works. I'd never seen anything like it. I screwed up my courage and, at age 52, entered my first mosh pit...what a riot! It was hysterical! Maybe the most fun I've ever had at a concert. SHONEN KNIFE forever!
