This concept seems so remarkably quaint now, when you never hear about celebrities going on TV for any reason other than to promote their own new projects.
I read that Richard was unhappy when they added the star wheel because he felt he was being punished for constantly being chosen by the contestants for the Super Match. That at least partially explains his disinterest during Match Game '78.
For the Cronkite questchy, "frisking", "handcuffing" and "strip-searching" were what I was thinking. Oh well; most of them are dead now so I guess it doesn't matter.
