A little clip of my new E-MAXX before I put a brushless system in it. The car is stock with two 7 cell, 3000mAh NiMh batteries.

I bought the E-MAXX because the Rustler couldn't handle the power of the Novak HV4.5. Transmission broke all the time.

  • How fast does the e maxx go with stock 8,4 3000 mah batteries.

  • @krisford100 Not fast. Propably around 30kph. Stock gearing.

  • @exdeath77, lol its not that fricken slow on 2 7 cells ffs. Maybe 30 miles, but 30 kilometers wouldnt even make it up that hill lol.

  • @Kevster012 Well... it barely did. :P

  • @exdeath77, still were talking bout a hobby grade, not a Tyco, or even worse a Radio shack rc lol.

  • Yes, it's very well made, and won't fall apart unless you do something very stupid.

I've tested a couple of cheap brands (1/10 monster trucks) with about the same claimed speed and they struggled hard achieving even half of what they claimed. Measured with GPS. One of them broke the chassis in two after landing perfect on the wheels from a 30cm high jump. Contrary to my EMAXX wich in one of my other videos takes a big rock head-on and hardly getting a scratch.

  • @krisford100 it does about 25mph

  • @exdeath77, hell ya, Traxxas makes very well built machines, even something smaller, like a slash, stampede, or rustler can take A LOT of impact. I like, and trust Traxxas as a company, that why although I hear a Associated tc4 handles better than a Rustler I would rather buy the Rustler, like I don't know why, cus Associated is good, but I want to stick with something I know. You get what I mean? Plus Traxxas is like the only company I know of that makes everything waterproof.

  • #3905 EMAXX with two brushed motors.

  • hey what model and how many motors?
